Jinyun Temple

Stood before Sizi Summit and Juyun Summit, it’s established by the master Ciying in the first year of Liusong Jingping in south dynasty(AD 423). In the first year in Tang Dynasty(AD 785), Jingman—a Buddhist monk in Yougu of Zhejiang province entered Sichuan province followed indication of Wujiandu Buddhist monk entered Jinyun Mt. to rebuild Jinyun Temple.

Shuangbai Study

Located in right side of Jinyun Temple, the former Yuanmeibu Emperor Palace. There are the 18 floors of hell, Banguansi ,devilkin and Yama. In the late, God was reassembled by Sino-Tibetan dogmata. The temple was renamed as “Shuangbai Study ”

Baiyun Taoist Temple

Established in Qing Dynasty, it’s located in south side of Jinyun Mt. There is a Weituo sitting statue in temple. Weican in normal temple just is standing status. At present, Taoism Promotion of Chongqing is preparing to rebuild the temple as “Baiyun Taoist Temple”.

Fuxing Taoist Temple

Founded in Ming Dynasty, it ever rebuilt the mountainous entrance in west side in Shihua Temple. It’s about 3KM away from Jinyun Temple.

Shaolong Taoist Temple

In dell at behind mountain in north spring, the temple was established in Chenghua Yiyi year in Ming Dynasty(AD 1485). In Yongzheng and Daoguan period of Qing Dynasty, it’s rebuilt for many times.

Nine peaks in Jinyun Mt.

Nine peaks in Jinyun Mt. was formed by geological movement and no-water abetching of rock joint crack and natural function, and most of them were named by mountain forms, trend and sunrise & sundown.

With the attitude of 854M, it’s opposite to Lion Summit. One stone post beside the cliff which is about 20M high and 3M away from the cliff. It’s stood vertically with ruggedness and meaningful rocks, uneven surface. It’s like long-neck censer, so it’s so called censer summit.

Lion Summit

With the altitude of 864M, rocks in the summit are bare with lofty cragginess. Looking up, it’s like a male lion, so it’s so called Lion Summit.
